Crazy Greek Lady

Promise from God: You will be an awesome Mom and have an incredible relationship with your children. I will Father your children.

God's Story: Today the Father told me to let my daughter play computer games to her hearts content for most of the day. I recently got her a new reading game. The Father shared with me that she was self-actuating and discovering a good and satisfying indepence. My old instinct was to interfere and control her day, God's instinct was to let her run with a passion and experience victory! She did! She finished the entire game in one day, reading over 30 online books and playing probably over 60 reading games. All day long she kept telling me how much she loved me. She was affectionate, confident, mature and beautiful. In only a few hours I saw a transformation in her. Thanks Daddy in heaven - your a great Father!

God's Story: Yesterday, while running, I saw our neighor "the crazy Greek lady" (or so she has been labled) pulling out of her drive-way. The Father wanted me to go and reach out to her in courage and pray for her. My instinct was to be passive, find some other distraction and remain in my prejudice. This morning while running and worshiping, he turned my passivity into boldness and determination. Tonight I brought her oranges, unconditional love, and acceptance. We talked openly about God, I listened to her life, her ups and downs, her joys and frustrations and I prayed for her, blessing her and her family and calling out prophetically the beauty I saw hidden within her. By the time I left, I had gained a crazy Greek grandmother and she told me that she had not such a pleasant surprise in over 10 years. We promised to do it again.
